We must be on that Christmas/Hanukkah creep, because our hosts Chris and Zach risk it all by playing fast and loose with their season structure by shoehorning A Muppet Christmas Carol into the middle of their third season. I guess they feel comfortable infringing upon the Sinclairity trademark considering they stole both the muppets and Brian Henson from the unabashedly charming hosts Ben and Tim of Sinclairity A Dinosaurs Tale. Somehow, these two heroes managed to find time to watch a little indie darling by the name of “Jumanji: The Next Level” and even record a whole podcast episode about it. Since the network execs haven’t pulled the trigger on canceling us just yet, how about we treat you lovely, loyal listeners with a little something I like to call: episode 2 of season 3. Sound good to you? You’re a little bit interested, you say? Well let me tell you a little more, I respond. Today, our hosts Chris and Zach (also known as Zach and Chris) review the 2011 comedy film-that-I’ve-never-heard-of “The Change-Up” starring Jason Bateman and Ryan Reynolds (known for “Teen Wolf Too” and an episode of “The X Files”, respectively). I can tell by the look in your eyes that you’re on board now. Excellent. Unfortunately, this movie does two things wrong: it sucks AND it has nothing to do with baseball. But, our humble hosts do two things right: they use Freaksimiles established in the first episode of this season to decide how “Freaky” this movie is AND they keep us all entertained in the process.
